Today's special treat was a rainbow! It was a full one, though my camera couldn't capture both ends since we were too close. Perhaps this means we may have a sunny day or two in store soon! These photos were taken from the passenger side of a moving vehicle this afternoon. I actually glanced up from my knitting and noticed the rainbow. I'm glad I didn't miss it. Besides providing blog material, rainbows tend to make my heart lighter and happier. The sock was glad to see the rainbow, too.
ooohhhhh isn't that sweet? I wish I'd have seen it, too. The rain woke me up tonight, believe it or not, and I had to check on the basement (still dry!)

It may be wishful thinking, but I can almost see a second -- as in DOUBLE rainbow -- in that first picture. In either case, single or double... SWEEEEEET! This kind of weather is one reason why I didn't do so well on the coast of Oregon.
Love your hair! Man, I need something different...

Lucky sock!
Lovely photos. I can't remember the last time I saw a rainbow.

What a beautiful place you live in!
I knew that knitting was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
We have lots of rainbows in "Rainbow Country" (we have lots of rain).
