Doves. Mourning doves, that is, as seen through my kitchen window this morning. In addition to our ever-present squirrels, mourning doves are constant backyard companions. They roost in the woods and visit the feeders through out the day. D is also for the dragonfly window decoration.
As of this afternoon, the Spring Enticement Shawl is off the circular needle. It is blocking right now. Once it dries, I'll add the fringe and have a finished object. For current works in progress, I have to cast on for sock number two of the Jaywalkers and I also have Williamsro, which is still on sleeve number one.
Sunday is supposed to be wet, warmer with highs in the lower 40s, and foggy. For the evening, we are expecting a few more inches of snow. Besides doing some paperwork, tomorrow should be a good day to fit in some more knitting. I imagine I may also work on the opened bag of Trader Joe's chocolate-covered, peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets. *g*
In my house they are (fondly) called the piggy doves. When we had a big feeder they could get on they tossed a good deal of seed down onto the ground. We have a different feeder now as well as a hanging tray feeder for the doves so that they don't make a mess anymore. (Not that I mind *some* seed on the ground because then squirrels and chippys and groundfeeding birds can get at it.)

Yeah! Sounds like perfect weaving.. um I mean knitting weather!
Damn Cookie got me addicted to peppermint joe-joes. Thankfully I stocked up and froze a bunch. I was even able to resist the little brown and green female children pushing their crack this year. I love Trader Joes.

Those scout cookies are not made from real scouts. Talk about false advertising...
Happy knitting and snacking!
