Here is an up-to-the-minute progress shot of the Forest Canopy shawl. I'm in the middle of the second repeat. I worked on it last night and for a few rows tonight after meeting with Nora.
Nora! We forgot to use our cameras! Augh! We were just too busy shopping at Loop and talking. (posting from the 'phone...pretend there are links in this post.) I'm glad we were able to get together tonight. It is my last night in Milwaukee for awhile AND I was able to wish Nora "Happy Birthday!" a day early. Go visit her at Knotmuchofaknitter.wordpress.com and wish her a happy one, okay?
That's it, I'm moving closer to Wisconsin as soon as I can.

I really like the colors in Forest Canopy! Soothing but yet has a touch of color to add brightness. Glad you and Nora got to get together again. Wish I lived closer to you guys! :-)

Lookin good! Isn't this pattern great?? I'm doing my third one now. The pattern is easy to remember and you get into the knitting grove. Keep those progress pictures coming!

I feel the same way Joan! But, everyone must move to CA! :D It's sunny and warm! And beachy - right Angie? *ahem*
Sounds like a wonderful evening was had. How I wish I could have been there.

Cost of living is MUCH better here, snow or no snow. We have plenty of warm in the summer.
Everyone should realize that the yarn Angie is using is even more gorgeous in person - wow!
Finally, thanks, Angie, for such a great time last night, and for the very unexpected and most appreciated birthday surprises. What fun!!

No, everyone should not move to Cali. We have too many damn people now.
I'm so glad you got to see Nora last night and I'm happy to see your FC is going well.
