I'll be darned. You did a great job on a challenging project! I like how you put the yarns together.

Excellent bag! The colors remind me of vintage French ticking fabric. Nice!

Something I've done to increase the structural rigidity on knit handbags (especially felted ones) is to use spray adhesive and attach (inside the bag, of course) plastic embroidery canvas cut to shape. Sometimes it's just for the base of the bag (booga bags in particular) and sometimes I do a whole lining (like in knitted clutch purses). It works without adding a whole lot of weight, time or expense.
