I think we're all so spoiled and removed from nature that when Mother Nature does her thing, we're caught off guard. Floods, droughts, fire, mud slides... they happen on their own schedule, but I think we have begun to forget them a bit and assume that the weather is always nice. Instead we should see the rare good days as the blessing they are.

Yeah, it's year two of a drought and I'm ready for the long haul.

I just love things that are locally made. The bag a pin are adorable. Love all the little buttons on the bag. Congrats on winning Kim's loot! You'll be soaring on with those socks now.

It's raining here today, but we need it. Nice haul from the Mayville yarn shop! Prune bread! Ick!
