If I had to butcher my own meat, I'd be a vegetarian in no time. I am citified enough to prefer it to look nothing like the animal it came from... (I'm NOT citified enough to turn down some moose kebabs, though.)

Such pretty menfolk you've got, Angie.

What? Someone had to say it.

I'm so glad you've been able to spend some quality time with your family. Can you get some of them to help with the laundry? ;^)

I can be your lifeline call for Pride and Prejudice. I've read it more than 5 times. This summer I started reading some of the other books, too.
Glad you had a family feast- good gobbling.

The carnage of carnivores! I love eating it, but the preparation part? Not so much. Luckily I mostly get to feast.

LYS swag, eh? Fun. Hopefully the crowds wont' be so crazy tomorrow.

Sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving indeed. Do we need to send a search party or have you made it off the mountain?

:::: calculating time to drive to WI and risk of being shot trying to steal venison ::::

I'm chuckling about you having spent two days up to your a** in deer entrails, but having to go to the store for cat food!

I agree with Cookie.

Did I hear someone say "venison stew?"

All that butchering! Wow! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who hasn't read Pride & Prejudice!
