One of the many new and temporary stands and structures in front of the White House in preparation of the inauguration next Tuesday. There are stands that are supposed to seat 5,000 folks. It was very interesting to see. I am glad I won't be here for the event....my crowd-hating self would be miserable. My class was good but complex with a knowledgeable and good instrctor. The british accent didn't hurt, either. I am on my way home and will hopefully be there before midnight. o.O
That city is going to be a nightmare next week.
Hurry on home safely!

DC is going to be a zoo but oh, man, I wish I was going to be there!
Good but complex, w/an instructor w/an accent is the best class! :)

So now you have me wondering about the class. I've taken a couple MS classes with an amazing instructor with a British accent, both in the DC area. He really impressed me with his knowledge. Smart, smart guy.
And ditto on the whole not-wanting-to-be-there thing. I think hotels on the right side of the Chesapeake are booked up and people are driving over there. It's going to be a madhouse.

Ugh, zoo indeed. I hate crowds in the best of times, no way could I be within 100 miles of there for that event.

Hope you are home safe and sound!
