I'm preparing to show and sell scarves and shawls at this year's Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival held September 5 - 7, 2014 at the Jefferson Fair Park, Jefferson, Wisconsin. You'll find me in a booth with Yorkshire Rose Farm and all of Carole Pine's glorious products. I know, I have a bias. Perhaps they are just simply fabulous. I am especially a fan of her Romney yarn. I call it a sexy yarn - very soft and a great luster. We theorize that Carole's Romney sheep apparently are more like the older English version of the breed, rather than the more modern New Zealand version, which was bred with the focus on meat production. All the items I'm bringing are woven with Yorkshire Rose Farm Romney yarn.
Please say hello when you're at the Festival! Carole and I are offering a free One-Skein Scarf "recipe card" with the purchase of yarn.
That's terrific! I don't think I'll make it again this year, but I sure wish you a great show!
